The Men For Life programme was established in October 2003; the idea came from the male members of the organisation who felt that there was a great need for an initiative which aims to guide and support the men within the community.
Members of the committee for the programme are Freddy Humphries, John Molele and Welcome Nkoji.
Men For Life was established to work with men in general, helping them with the problems that they face on a daily basis, assisting them in whatever way possible, and also showing them ways to handle their problems.
Our plans for the future are to hold conferences and workshops that men of the community can take part in on a weekly basis.
Ideas which we have towards helping develop the men in the Westbury community include:
Clean-up projects where we will clean up certain areas of the community
Mediation programmes
Counseling
My Fathers House - an orphanage program
It's all about working together to reach our goals!
