Nka -Thuto was
established in 1972 and the principal at that stage was Mr. Mabuse. The school
had 10 class rooms which catered for 400 learners. An additional 5 classes were
added in 1985 which moved the number attending to 600 learners. Nka-Thuto was a
South Sotho school in then 1995, when C3 restructured schools was merged. Mrs
Bell became principal before she retired in 1997. Mrs. E skele was assigned
principal since 1998.
The school is very active in Netbal, soccer and
athletics.
Activities
The
school is very active in sports that is Netball,Soccer and Athletics.
During
Mr.Rakgoadi the school participated in Read activities.
The school was
adopted by 1983 Dunn & Breedstreet which is now Transunion ITC and the
company is still sposering the school.
Following things
were donated
1.Carpeting of 3 classes
2.Shelves installed in foundation
phase
3.Teaching & Learning surpport material eg.TV's Library books,
radios
4.Media center developed and computers installed.
Nka Thuto was a

with Phuti Junior and DPH Primary.
The school carters for Zulu speaking
learners.
- Transunion
ITC is a sponsor of the school since 1993. Donations made wa sthe carpeting of 3
classes.

installation of shelves in the schools foundation phase.
- Teaching and
learning support material eg. Televisions, Library books, Radio's.
- Media center was
developed and computers was installed.
